Description
Recognizes a single station employee, radio or television, in the early stages of their career (5 years or less as of December 31, 2025) who shows great promise in their desire and ambition to succeed in broadcasting, in any area of the business.
This employee may work in one of the following departments:
o On-Air Talent
o Programming
o Digital
o Engineer
o Sales
o Traffic
o Photographer / Videographer
o Other
This individual consistently displays a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a willingness to go above and beyond their daily job responsibilities to ensure the station exceeds the expectations of its audience.
Requirements
The nominated employee must have less than five years of professional work experience.
Please include the following supporting documents:
• Letter of recommendation from a station employee in a supervisory or management role
• Current resume of the station employee being considered.
• Required - At least one (1), but no more than three (3), examples of the employee's work (where applicable). These examples may consist of video or audio content, sales presentations, client testimonials, etc. OR a testimonial describing results of the employee's work.
Station management submission preferred, but not required. The employee must be nominated by an individual that oversees their work. An employee cannot nominate themselves, nor can they nominate a peer.
